Al Ain National Museum, Abu Dhabi

Al Ain National Museum, Abu Dhabi is located within the confines of Al Jahili fort, adjacent to the Al Hosn Palace. The museum is over eighty years old and is also is one of the largest museums in the Middle East.

AL Ain Museum has two sections Ethnographical and Archaeological. The Ethnographical Section reflects the daily life of the people of the region. Reconstructions of traditional life are main tourist attractions. Garments, household items and utensils, as well as gold and silver jewelry highlight the local customs.

The Archaeological section of the Al Ain National Museum, Abu Dhabi displays discoveries date back to the Bronze and Iron Ages. The exhibits include gold pendants, coin collection. This section displays discoveries made throughout the Middle East over the past few decades.

The entry free is for children and 1 Dh for adult. The timings of the museum in winters are from 8:30 am to 1:00pm in the morning and 3:30 to 5:30 in the evening. The summer timings are 8:30 am to 1:00pm in the morning and 4:30 to 6:30 in the evening
