Liwa oasis is approximately three hours' drive from
Abu Dhabi. It one of the largest oases in the Arabian
Peninsula and is also the entry point to the famous
Rub Al Khali, Abu Dhabi. The oasis is home to the Bedouin
ancestors of Abu Dhabi's ruling family.
Liwa features freshwater pools and date plantations. The desert in Liwa has
remained unchanged for centuries and still retains its
mountainous red dunes.

from sun, and wear light cotton clothes to avoid heat
