The terminal 2 in Dubai International airport was inaugurated on May 1st 1998, to solve the problem of congestion and cater to schedule, charter, and executive flights landing at the airport. Airlines coming from Iran, CIS countries and charted flights arrive on this terminal.

Dubai International airport's transit is undoubtedly one of the worlds most sought after experiences. There are total five transfer desks near gates 22, 18, 14 and 8 and at the arrival remote gate.
