The Doha International Airport is the base of air travel in this country. Located in the national capital Doha, this airport hosts a huge number of flights to Qatar. Most of the popular airlines of the world operate through the Doha airport and have daily or weekly flights in and out of Qatar.
National carrier Qatar Airways is constantly expanding its customer base and is on the verge of becoming a worldwide airline network.  It operates numerous flights out of Qatar, connecting it with the most popular world cities.

Visitors from the region often opt for road travel to Qatar. Since the country is surrounded by the Arabian Gulf on three sides, there is just one way of getting in Qatar by land. This only route is through Saudi Arabia, Qatar's immediate neighbor.
Many travelers hire cars to reach Qatar from Saudi Arabia. However, night travel on this route is not recommended. You can also travel to Qatar using bus service from Saudi Arabia. These buses do not have fixed routes and are usually quite uncomfortable.
Azure waters of the Arabian Gulf are used as modes of sea travel into Qatar. Neighboring regions like Dubai and Iran operate small commercial boats in and out of Qatar on a frequent basis. These boats do not follow specific routes and are not frequently used by general tourists. The Doha Port hosts a huge number of commercial frights coming into the city from all over the world.
